Alexander Cartwright: Born April 17, 1820, Alexander Cartwright is considered the father of American baseball. U.S. Congress officially he attributed the invention of a modern game of baseball. George Ariyoshi: Born March 12, 1926, Ariyoshi served as the third Governor of Hawaii.
